This oil painting is about Smoking, Alcohol and drug abuse. Notice the cigerette in Snow White's left hand (Bottom right). This eerily puts across my opinion that Smoking, alcohol and drugs are too commercialised and the advertising is to mainstream. From giant bill boards to funny, iconic adverts on tv, even watching a favourite character from Coronation Street getting drunk on the tv can effect a young persons view on things. More often than not young teenagers abuse alcohol and drugs as it is seen to be cool. I believe companies are cashing on this fact by targetting products and adverts at the young. Alcohol is becoming more and more accesible to young teenagers. Alcoholic drinks that taste like pop and juice certainly do not help. It's got to stop.
